RACGP John Murtagh Library
The services and resources of the RACGP John Murtagh Library, formally NATIONAL RESOURCE CENTRE, are freely available to all Registrars, Medical Educators, Supervisors and RTP staff. The National Rural Faculty (NRF) (RACGGP)
The National Rural Faculty (NRF) is the Academic Faculty within The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners responsible for the award of the Fellowship in Advanced Rural General Practice/Graduate Diploma in Rural General Practice which includes the completion of Advanced Rural Skills Posts to provide potential rural GPs with essential procedural skills.
Additionally, the Faculty is directly responsible for:
- Enabling the College to serve its rural & remote constituents
- Promoting the interests, aims and objectives of the College amongst rural & remote doctors
- Advocating, within and through the College, issues of concern to rural & remote Australia.
- Ensuring College policies concerning, education, training and standards are relevant to rural & remote Australia.
The NRF has developed resources which are ideal for rural and remote general practice registrars or other medical practitioners preparing to sit the college examination
