  • Training Delivery- deliver excellent, well-resourced GP education and training.
  • Quality Management- assure the quality and relevance of the training through continuous quality improvement.
  • Innovation- to ensure that GP training remains contemporary.
  • Compliance- Monitor the training to ensure that arrangements comply with the Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP)  and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine's (ACRRM's) Vocational Training Standards and that graduates are eligible for vocational registration.
  • Promotion- promote New England as a nationally renowned provider of excellent GP education.
  • Build Partnerships- enhance the quality and breadth of the training through networking with other organisations committed to excellence in GP education.
  • Community Support- ensure that GP education and training is focussed particularly on meeting the healthcare needs of the New England community.
  • Optimise cost efficiency- ensure that GP education and training is delivered as cost efficiently as possible.
